I grew up in a Christian home and environment, but everyone has a time when they are really tested. I had a year where God showed me where He was leading me. And in my infinite human wisdom, I thought I could get there faster than God had planned. And when things didn’t go according to plan, I started to get bitter and rebel against God, my parents and my own conscience, and it threw me in a downward spiral spiritually and physically. I got into drugs and alcohol and sex. But God reached through in one clear moment and told me to go to a one year discipleship training internship in Texas. And surprisingly, I listened. That one year, I gave up control of my life to Christ, and he worked such a miracle in my life and brought me back on track. He gave me back my passion for Him and for worship. My point is that God knows you more than you know yourself, and if you let Him work in your life, His life will shine through it. God bless.
